GRANT's Background
Grant was mauled by a dog as a toddler and lost his father in a tragic car accident in his teens. He migrated to Australia in his 20s, leaving the country that he loves, and was betrayed by his first wife in his 30s. He has also experienced redundancies in both South Africa and Australia.

He has significant lived experience and relatability.
​
Despite these events and experiencing such adversity, Grant has chosen to feel very fortunate to have had these experiences. He still:

Wrote an award nominated self-help memoir

Completed the University degree he had started before the car accident

Established a rowing club
-
Completed multiple Ironman Triathlons (3.8km swim, 180km bike, 42.2km run)

Became a Chartered Accountant

Found love again and now has a beautiful family

Grant has since commenced a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology through the University of Melbourne in a effort to combine his lived experience with formal qualifications in the field.
